Miss you!

Hey Guyz!

I cannot believe this, is it really about 1 1/2 month the last time I saw you? I think about you so much... Well, today is new year's eve and I'm looking forward to a new exciting 2007, but I'm quite sure it will not be as exciting as 2006 with you girls. I guess Silje is already partying hard, while you others are getting prepared for wonderful partys. What are you doing tonight? Daniel and me are going to some friends' place to have dinner with them and another couple. At twelve we will have a small firework and afterwards we are going to some club in the city. Hmmm...there's not happening a lot here. I'm enjoying some days without uni and sleeping in all the time. But yesterday I had to get up early to do the shoppings for tonight and of course I had to buy a new top (I have nothing to wear!!!) and found a really cute but expensive one. Well, anyways I don't care, it's f***ing new year's eve and I have to be really pretty, don't I? ;) I wish we could celebrate together, would be crazy. We will do that another time. That's about it. I wish you loads of fun tonight, party hard and all the best for 2007!

Love ya, Laura

Merry Christmas!

Hey Girls!

How are you doing? I hope you are all fine and have lots of fun back home (besides Silje: Hope you´re having lots of fun in Perth ;) ). It's Christmas Eve (well almost over) and I'm sitting alone in our lovely new appartment. Daniel is at home in Luebeck and I'm waiting for a friend to have a few drinks and a nice chat with her, so this might be a short post. Since I'm back I have heaps to do for university and partying hard. What you wrote about Asia sounded sooo fun. I'm really jealous. And Silje your trip sounded fun, too, but I'm really NOT jealous about seeing a shark swimming next to you. @Tonje: I'm so glad you like London and are happy with your Thomas.

Well, guyz, got to go, next time more.

I wish you all a merry Christmas, love and miss u!
Kisses Laura

1 day to go!!

Hello everyone!

This is my last day in Asia, which is strange. Just came back to Singapore (for the third time...God, I'm tired of this city - just raining all the time.) after spending my last 5 days in Bali with two of my Irish friends from Perth. Bali is a true paradise. So beautiful there. The first day I came we went out in Kuta, the main tourist place, and got pissed. Lovely :) The two next days we spendt at a beach called Dreamland. It's a really small beach where you live in small beach huts with no electrisity. The showers and toilets are very old fashioned, but the people are more friendly than I've ever experienced before and everything is a true dream. Had bon fires at the beach every night. The owner of our homestay bbqed fresh fish for us and we just sat there looking at the bright stars, chatting to other backpackers and locals and relaxed. I want to go back! The two last days we stayed in a place called Nusa Dua, which is a very posh place. Still, very good. Spoiled ourselves with nice meals every night, and went to the beach looking at all the surfers during the day. Bali is a surfer's paradise. Had a wicked time with other words, and it was a good end to a beautiful month in South-East Asia. I'm so glad I desided to travel here before I went home, and it was a pleasure doing it with Lene!! We got to know eachother really good I feel, and were a good travel team :)
Today I'm just waiting in my hostel in Singapore. A Scottish guy here just bought season 5 of 24 on dvd, so we're gonna watch as many as possible of the episodes to day. A good way to kill som time while I'm waiting to be flewn back home to Norway around midnight. Can't wait to see all my friends again! But it's gonna be weird wearing socks and shoes again. Lol :) And I'm defo gonna miss the feeling of freedom I've had the last 5 months. Anyways., I'm sure new adventures will come in Norway aswell. maybe a handsome Norwegian guy is sitting next to me in the airplane, and we totally fall in love with eachother and live happily ever after?! Oh, think I spendt to much time in Dreamland. Have a nice xmas, guys! Hope you're having a very good time with your family and friends. Maybe we'll even call each other during the holidays!? My Norwegian number is btw +47 93 05 12 91.

Happy Holidays.

Love you all, and miss u a lot! Kiss from Therese T-Bone

I must say ive completely fallen in love with the city and my man once again :) so im a happy chic at the moment! the first week in London was spent shopping (used waaay to much money, sadly) and waiting for thomas to finish work - which wasnt all that fun, because he works 14 hours a day if not even more.. help!! Phuket

Hi everyone:)

Therese has just left me and I feel sad. While my travel buddy is on her way to Bali, I'm stuck in Singapore for at least 4 more hours. This has been the best trip ever and it's going to be hard to get back to "REAL" life in Norway. We had some relaxing days in phuket, which was quite good after all the partying in Kho panang. Partying on the beach 4 days in a row is quite exhausting I tell you. Phuket was what we expected, a typical tourist place. But Therese and I enjoyed it, even though we haven't done much. We've mostly been laying on the beach drinking cocktails, water and soda. When you're in Phuket you don't have to do much, there are thai guys running around asking you if you need anything all the time. We even had sunbeds, what luxury:D We got ourselves an oil massage for an hour, pure heaven:D Thai boxing is good fun and we actually spent a whole evening watching guys beat each other up. I was quite sad though because I didn't get a boxing t-shirt, I only got a stupid poster of patong beach and a lot of ugly buildings:( I even tried using my blonde hair without any luck. Good thing Therese was there to comfort me in all my sorrow. Anyway, we've had a great time in Asia. Too bad it's over... But I'm looking forward to seeing my family and friends at home. I'll be in Norway next time you hear from me;)
Hugs and kisses from Lene (alone in Singapore he he)
Here are some pictures from phuket:

Update from Perth

Hi girls!!
I guess it is time for a little update on what I've done since you guys left. I cannot believe it has already been almost 4 weeks since the summerholiday started!!
After Hans FINALLY finished his exams a week after I did, we went on a road trip with Mark (a guy from Hans's class) to Bremer Bay. Bremer Bay is east of Albany and is a little place with 250 citizens. Mark's family has a summer house there, so we went there to relax after the exams. On the way back we went to the Valley of the Giants and went on the Tree top walk. The trees here were huge!! Just see the pictures...

The roadtrip you guys went on in the study break sounded like a lot of fun, so Hans and I decided we also wanted to go on a trip like that. But first we needed a car. So, Mark said he would help us finding one. After searching for almost a day, we found one that was ok. It is not a fancy one, but it is red car (don't know much about cars...). It is similar to the one Lars had. Anyway, last Tuesday we started our roadtrip and headed north. We made it all the way to Exmouth and came back yesterday. On our way up, we stopped at the Pinnacles and other things to look at, and we had a few days in Coral Bay as well. The car worked fine all the time except twice.... First, when we were on our way to Nature's Window in Kalbarri national park. Someone was driving (NOT me...) and was driving too fast on the hot desert road. And it was pretty far in to the thing. Anyway, I suddenly realized the car was overheating due to the stupid driving. So we had to stop and sit and wait there until the engine cooled down again. We didn't make it all the way in there, which is too bad; however, maybe we can do it later. I sure wasn't happy, and I surely told Hans... The other time the car had a little trouble was in Coral Bay. The car just wouldn't start one morning. Maybe not surprising, since it had been standing still with the lights on for 40 hours?? Not me driving with the lights on either..... Arg.....

However, we did have a great time, and there was so much to see! In Coral Bay we went on a kayak trip to the outer reef. There we went snorkling (with a guide) and saw turtles, sharks (guess if I was scared..) and thousands of fish! It was great. The sharks weren't dangerous because they were not interested in people, but for me, sharks are sharks. I was screaming into the snorkel when I saw them, I guess that must have made a stupid noice on the surface...

My parents and my brother are coming on Wednesday. That's less than one week! I am really looking forward to it. A girl in one of my classes had a (plastic) Christmas tree she wasn't using, so she gave it too me. So, I guess we have to put it together closer to Christmas Eve... Maybe we can get a little of the "Christmas feeling" after all. We all go to Sydney to celebrate New years. I hope it will be great, at least I am looking forward to seeing my family again.

I took some pictures when we went to Carnegie's and at the party at Irene and Anette's. Therese, I heard you didn't remember meeting us at Carnegie's, but here is proof.... :)

UWA - Ultracool Wicked Asia!

Hi guys :)

We've been travelling for almost 2 weeks now, and there is so many impressions. We've met so many nice people and have experienced new and fun stuff every day! Malaysia was good. We went to Melaka first, which is a small city with lots of historical sites. (Therese and her cultural heritage brain really fancied this place we can asure ya!) Kuala Lumpur was a bit too big for us. After seing lots of transvestite prostitution on our way back to our hostel one night, we got enough, and caught a bus to Penang - a beautiful holiday Island. We met great people there, both locals and backpackers. Had beach parties and went to a snaketemple where we helt snakes!! Brave, huh? :) We came to Ko Pah Ngan in Thailand 5 days ago. Met two guys from Canada and a girl from Holland here and are living together with the one guy and the girl now. (The other guy paniced and left the Island 2 days ago..Weirdo!) Have been partying every night, and tomorrow is the big fullmoon party! Can't wait! It's a crazy but lovely atmosphere here. It's gonna be about 20 000 people there tomorrow. well, it's time to get some hung over food. Hope evrything is good, girls! We miss some comments here! hehe...Come oN! Lots of love from lene and TheresE!

Lene and Therese in Singapore:)

Hi everyone:)

We're finally in Singapore, after some problems in the beginning. We had agreed on a place to meet, but somehow we must have past each other for 2 hours without seeing each other. Our mobilephones didn't work, but thank god for internett;) We are now staying at a backpackers called summer tavern, which is quite central. Yesterday we had some chinese food and ended up fighting with some waitresses because they wantet us to pay 36 dollars for two glasses of wine. Therese found a rubber band in her food and we met a crazy old german man who wouldn't leave us alone. He wanted to tell us how much he loved norwegian trolls and he told us maybe 500 times that he wanted to move to Norway. We ended up paying 30 dollars for everything and running for our lives. Exciting!;) Today we've been to sentosa, a small island. Therese is sunburned and we ended up escaping from a rainstorm, but it has been a great day on the beach. After showering, we're heading to China Town to drink some singapore slings and enjoying ourselves. Cheers!

Tomorrow we're going to Melaka in Malaysia to see some historical sights, Kuala Lumpur is our next stop and then Penang and Pulau Pangkor which are supposed to be islands with beautiful beaches. That's our plan for now, we'll give you an update later.

Hurray hurray for singapore sling... Take care girls,we miss you!

For ever and always Lene and Therese

It's Blog time, guys!

Hi everyone!

So, this is our new Blog:

www.uwa.blogspot.com

Hope we can share loads of memories and news here. It's been such a fantastic time here in Perth, and I would love yo stay in contact with all of you, guys. Re-union one day is something we just have to plan on day, hey? :)
So anyway, to add photoes just click the 'add image' sign next to the 'abc' sign in the top line whn you're writing your post. Then you'll be asked to download them. Easy peasy :) Even I can do it, and I'm slow when it comes to stuff like this.

Allright, I have my last exam in about 20 minutes, so I guess it's time to go bite som nails and write some words down.
Can't wait to have a 6 weeks vacation after this, but it will be emotional leaving this place (not the library but Perth!!). Going to Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand with Lene next week. Staying for 4 weeks total, and then back to Norway and Christmas. Looking forward to see everyone back home again aswell.
Well, have to run. Gonna add some pictures but at least we have a blog runing, so let's take advantage of that and be active in her, pepole :)

Love love Therese
